Taleo Named One of Canada’s Top 100 Employers
Taleo awarded with distinction as top employer three years in a row
Quebec City, Canada – October 27, 2004 – Taleo Corporation, the leading provider of enterprise staffing management services and solutions, today announced that it has been named one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers for the third year in a row. In addition, Taleo was named one of Canada’s Top 10 Companies for ‘Young Bucks,’ which recognizes companies with a large number of employees in their mid-career who will benefit from opportunities of continued growth within the company. Taleo’s listing is the result of a national search involving more than 6,000 organizations across Canada. The Top 100 list is compiled by publishing firm, Mediacorp Canada Inc.

In surveying the candidates, Mediacorp started with an initial field of 52,000 companies across Canada and narrowed it down to 6,000 contenders who were then invited to submit detailed information on their company or organization. More than 1,000 employers started the application process, making Taleo’s ranking a significant achievement.
Key criteria that were reviewed as part of the awards process included demonstration of solid company growth, a positive and fun work environment, steady and useful internal communication, growth opportunities, enhanced benefits, and successful recruiting and retention efforts.
