Taleo, Formerly Recruitsoft, Holds Third Annual Users’ Group Meeting and Semi-Annual Regional Sessions

More than 250 human resources and technology professionals, industry experts, thought leaders, and partners join Taleo for Users’ Conference from organizations across the world

San Francisco, CA – April 26, 2004 – Taleo Corporation, formerly Recruitsoft, Inc., announced today it is holding its Annual World Users’ Conference and Semi-annual Regional Users’ Group Meetings April 25-28, at the Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort & Club in Aventura, Florida.

The Keynote presentation will be made by Alexis M. Herman, Former US Secretary of Labor, who will discuss “The Business Case For Workforce Diversity.” America’s 23rd Secretary of Labor and the first African American ever to lead the Labor Department, Secretary Herman was sworn in on May 1, 1997. Under Secretary Herman's stewardship, the United States’ unemployment rate reached a thirty-year record low of 3.9 percent in May 2000. Furthermore, unemployment among African Americans and Hispanics fell to record lows.

General Sessions from human resource and industry experts from companies such as ARAMARK, BMW Manufacturing Co., Dow Chemical, and Honeywell will focus on best practices and strategies around topics including the contingent workforce, managing a global workforce, value generation though staffing, internal mobility, alignment of staffing with business objectives, candidate attraction and employee retention, and others. Regional Users Sessions and Special Interest Group Meetings
Eastern, Central and Western US and the Canadian Regional Users’ Groups as well as the Global Users’ Group will hold sessions April 28 in conjunction with the WORLD Conference. Taleo Regional Users Groups provide a forum for Taleo customers to share best practices with each other, learn about upcoming solution enhancements and provide feedback to product management and development at Taleo. The groups are self-run and governed, and all Taleo customers are eligible to participate. Taleo Users have also formed several Special Interest Groups that focus on best practices and technology in specific areas such as Hourly Staffing, Campus Recruiting/University Relations, Skills-based Staffing and Job Board Usage, among others.
