Taleo Business Edition 6, a completely self-service, on demand talent management solution, is unveiled just two months after Taleo's entrance into the small and mid-sized market.

Contact and Account Management
Taleo Business Edition allows customers to manage requisitions, candidates, careers web site, and the full hiring process. Now, with Taleo Business Edition 6, users can also manage personal contacts and accounts in the solution, making Taleo Business Edition even more comprehensive for managing complete customer relationships. With contact and account management features, users can manage data associated with preferred vendors, agencies, partners, customers and other relationships, and import this information from any other contact management system into the Taleo solution. With these features, HR executives benefit from a single solution for both contact management and sourcing and recruiting.
Enhanced Configurability
Taleo Business Edition 6, building on a strong foundation of self-service and configurability, adds powerful new options for users to further configure the solution to meet specific business needs. With these new options, users can easily rename all standard fields, menus and tabs, and easily tailor and customize views to show the desired fields in any particular order. Individual views also can be configured for each Business Edition user, allowing for a truly personalized experience.
Web Integration Links
Taleo Business Edition 6 also provides users with the unmatched ability to create Web Integration Links on the fly within the Taleo solution. Web integration links allow users to construct URLs to other websites and web-based applications. For instance, with web integration links, Business Edition users can add live links to search Google for a specific candidate, or search LinkedIn for a contact's social network. Taleo recently announced its partnership with LinkedIn to integrate referrals and reference checking with Taleo Business Edition.
Web Services API
Taleo's Web Services API allows customers, partners and developers to extend and integrate Taleo Business Edition with any other back office application, or build entirely new applications based on the Taleo platform. Now, with Taleo Buiness Edition 6, the enhanced Web Services API includes new methods for accessing Account and Contact data, and new signatures for all methods allowing explicit usage of session ID.
Multi-language support
Taleo Business Edition 6 can now support multiple languages within the application itself and on the external-facing careers sites. Taleo Business Edition 6 includes full support for English and French, with many more languages planned for future releases.
