Taleo Names Murray Creighton As Group Vice President, Asia Pacific
Former PeopleSoft executive with nearly 30 years of industry experience to lead Taleo?Äôs growing Asia-Pacific operations
SAN FRANCISCO —July 27, 2005 – Taleo Corporation, a worldwide leader of on demand talent management solutions, today announced the appointment of Murray Creighton as group vice president, Asia Pacific. As group vice president, Mr. Creighton is responsible for overall operations and initiatives in the Asia-Pacific region, reporting directly to Taleo President and CEO Michael Gregoire. Mr. Creighton brings nearly 30 years of experience in the IT industry, having spent more than half of his career in leadership positions throughout the enterprise application software market.

Prior to joining Taleo, Mr. Creighton served as senior vice president, PeopleSoft, where he was responsible for operations and revenue growth in Asia Pacific and Japan. Under his leadership, Mr. Creighton implemented comprehensive growth plans for the region and significantly grew revenues throughout Asia Pacific, including Japan, India and China, while at the same time increasing customer acquisition and satisfaction.
Mr. Creighton began his PeopleSoft tenure as vice president and managing director of the company's Asia Pacific operations, including Australia and New Zealand. Under his leadership, Mr. Creighton was responsible for the significant growth of the company's business and operations throughout the region. Additionally, Mr. Creighton dramatically increased customer referenceability and satisfaction and built a strong and successful team in the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to his time at PeopleSoft, Mr. Creighton served as vice president and general manager, Asia Pacific at Siebel, where he rapidly built and expanded operations in the region and drove sales in key industry verticals. During his time with Siebel, Mr. Creighton grew the company's operations and market share in key markets including Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan. He also established direct Siebel operations in India, Malaysia, South Korea and China.
Mr. Creighton also held senior management positions in sales and marketing with Systems Software Associates (SSA) and Wang Australia.
