Recruitsoft Appoints Industry Veteran Tom Lavey as EVP of Global Sales and Business Development
Former Oracle and i2 Technologies executive with 25 years of sales, management, business strategy, and enterprise software expertise appointed in response to company's continuous growth

Recruitsoft, Inc., the leading provider of staffing management solutions for large organizations, today announced the appointment of Tom Lavey as executive vice president of global sales and business development, reporting to Recruitsoft Chief Executive Officer Louis Tetu.

According to Tetu, Lavey will be responsible for spearheading strategies and managing the company’s worldwide sales, business development and solutions consulting groups. Lavey’s experience includes serving five years at Oracle Corporation as group vice president for applications, where he managed more than 300 sales professionals and delivered more than $500 million in annual revenue. During his tenure at Oracle, he also served as vice president of global sales practices where he implemented strategic sales programs for Oracle’s sales force, which included more than 8,000 professionals worldwide. He also served as senior vice president of sales at i2 Technologies, where he was responsible for high-tech and telecommunication worldwide sales and development. Lavey has also served as executive vice president for worldwide field operations at MS2, Inc., a software and services organization specializing in product lifecycle management solutions. Prior to this, Lavey served as senior vice president of worldwide field operations at Extricity, which provided supply chain and e-commerce software for Global 2000 companies. Lavey also co-founded and was chief executive officer at Minx Software and has held various sales leadership positions for other software companies such as Ask Computers Systems where revenue grew more than 50-fold during his tenure. Lavey holds a MBA from the University of Southern California and a bachelor's degree in mathematics and computer science from Penn State University.
