Recruitsoft Announces Executive Promotions and European Expansion

Company names COO, expands operations to France and the Netherlands and announces other new appointments to support its global growth

San Francisco, CA – April 2, 2002

Recruitsoft, Inc., the leading provider of staffing management solutions for large organizations, announced today the promotion of Guy Gauvin from vice president of global customer services to chief operating officer. Several other strategic promotions and new appointments have been announced. Additionally, to facilitate and manage its global growth, Recruitsoft has also announced that it has expanded its presence to France and the Netherlands. The company plans to grow from approximately 300 employees at the beginning of 2002 to exit the year with nearly 400 employees, primarily in infrastructure development to support its growing customer base and global growth strategy.

This expansion follows the company’s recent introduction of Recruitsoft 5: Enterprise Staffing Solution with ACE™ Configurable Workflow, which has gained significant adoption due to its leap forward in technology supporting global staffing processes.

“We are undertaking yet another expansion to support both aggressive growth globally and our industry-leading multinational client base,” said Recruitsoft Chief Executive Officer Louis Tetu. “We are also investing significantly to enhance what is already, in terms of bandwidth and experience, the industry’s strongest R&D team, to continue and accelerate our introduction of ground-breaking solutions designed to meet the dynamic needs of multinational organizations.” He added, “We look forward to Guy’s contribution in his expanded role, which will help to lead the company into this new stage of our growth.”

Prior to joining Recruitsoft in 1999, Gauvin was vice president of global services at Baan Supply Chain Solutions. He brings more than 15 years of management experience leading high growth companies in worldwide consulting, education and technical support from multiple software and business services industries.

“I'm looking forward to contributing to our continued expansion,” stated Gauvin. “As a company, we are committed to complete customer delight, which has enabled us to be ranked as having the best overall customer satisfaction in our industry. As Recruitsoft continues its growth, we will ensure that our customers continue to gain the greatest benefits, including the strongest ROI from our solutions and services.”

Frederic Lequient, who joined Recruitsoft in 1999, succeeds Gauvin as vice president of global customer services. Previously, Lequient was director of services, western US region. He brings significant consulting and management expertise to the position from the manufacturing, software and human resources industries. Prior to joining Recruitsoft, Lequient served as principal consultant at Baan Supply Chain Solutions.

“Frederic has proven his management expertise and commitment to customer satisfaction since joining Recruitsoft,” said Gauvin. “I am looking forward to his contributions in his new role.”

In other management appointments, Susan Van Klink, formerly director of services, Canada, has been promoted to director of solution consulting. Van Klink joined Recruitsoft in March 2000 and has proven expertise in both client service and implementing business hiring processes for global corporations. Todd McEvilly, formerly services manager, has been promoted to the position of director of services, central US region and reports to Lequient. In his new role, McEvilly oversees consulting activities for Recruitsoft clients in the central US region.

Global Expansion
Recruitsoft recently opened offices in Amsterdam and in Paris as part of its global expansion plan. Recruitsoft is headquartered in San Francisco and has multiple offices throughout the United States and Canada.

“We have successfully deployed our staffing management solution to multiple Global 1000 customers in more than 65 countries,” said Gauvin. “Our expansion into Europe demonstrates our commitment not only to serving our customers in Europe with local resources, but also to offering staffing management services and solutions that provide global benefits for new clients.” He added, “Recruitsoft 5: Staffing Management Solution with ACE Configurable Workflow has brought a new paradigm for staffing management to global corporations. With workflow configurable by country or region, all of which flows into a central system for process consistency and efficiencies, global corporations can now, with ease, deploy consistent processes in staffing management that take into consideration local customers and regulations.”

Two highly successful professionals have been appointed to head Recruitsoft’s new offices. Henry de Jong has been named European director of business development and Stephane Amiot has been appointed director of business development, France; both report to Ben Leclerc, vice president of international sales and global alliances. Prior to joining Recruitsoft, de Jong worked at Broadbase Software as managing director in the Benelux & Nordic division where he successfully launched customer analytics and relationship marketing solutions. He brings to Recruitsoft 15 years of business development, consulting and management experience from the software industry.

Prior to joining Recruitsoft, Amiot served as an executive director at Michael Page International, a European leader in specialized recruitment services, most recently responsible for managing the IT division for the French subsidiary.

Leclerc said, “We are thrilled to have Henry and Stephane join the Recruitsoft team. Their intimate knowledge of the European market and backgrounds in the human resources and software industries will help us to provide our solutions to leading European-based organizations as we continue to gain worldwide momentum.”
