Recruitsoft institutes new programs supporting further infrastructure development

San Francisco, CA – September 12, 2002

Recruitsoft, Inc., the leading provider of staffing management solutions for global organizations, announced today that Martin Morel has joined the executive management team as vice president of technology, and the company has launched a Project Management Office (PMO), which will work in tandem with its existing implementation methodologies and best practices to ensure continuous success and quality throughout each implementation phase for each Recruitsoft customer. Recruitsoft also announced that it has formalized its Professional Consultant Certification Program, which includes the education and tools needed to design, implement, integrate, and support Recruitsoft staffing management solutions for large global organizations.

These infrastructure initiatives are part of Recruitsoft’s continued growth and commitment to delivering customer satisfaction as the company continues its rapid pace of growth, according to Recruitsoft Chief Operating Officer Guy Gauvin. Moreover, by year-end, the company has announced that it will increase its employee base by more than 30 percent compared with the prior year. Recruitsoft also recently announced that its research & development team will reach 165 people within the fourth quarter of 2002, all focused on the company’s standard, fully configurable solution.

Gauvin stated, “We are very pleased to welcome Martin Morel to our executive team. We continue to develop our company’s infrastructure, as well as that of our solutions, to support our substantial growth in customers and usage, and our commitment to providing customers with best quality support. Martin will contribute significantly to that growth.” Martin Morel reports to Gauvin in his new post.

Morel, who brings more than 21 years of experience in managing technology development groups for large-scale Internet and enterprise applications software projects to his new role, joins a technology and research & development management team that includes Martin Ouellet, founder and vice president of product management; and Michel Cote, vice president of product development. Morel will focus primarily on the solutions’ scalability and technology related initiatives, as well as the company’s release management. Prior to Recruitsoft, Morel was chief technology officer at Mediagrif Interactive Technologies' eContent division (known as Flow Systems), a publicly traded eCommerce solutions provider; and prior to that, he served as vice president of research & development at Baan Supply-Chain Solutions.

Project Management Office (PMO)
The PMO, under the direction of Recruitsoft Knowledge Manager Gretchen Sturm, will work to continually hone Recruitsoft’s Implementation Toolkits and provide internal quality appraisals for key phases of implementation, such as project definition, analysis and design, prototype, deployment and post deployment. The PMO will work in tandem with Recruitsoft’s other services organizations to deliver predictable results to Recruitsoft customers with regard to implementation objectives, business process engineering, time management, change management, and associated costs.

Recruitsoft Vice President of Global Customer Services Frederic Lequient states, “As part of our services offering, the PMO will work to ensure the highest quality of services for our global customers.” He added, “Our team has successfully deployed Recruitsoft solutions to customers in more than 60 countries. The PMO will continue to ensure that key deliverables throughout the course of the implementation project are not only met, but continue to meet our company’s stringent quality standards as we continue to expand the breadth of our solutions’ offering to meet the evolving needs of the industry, and importantly, our expanding roster of Global 1000 customers.”

Recruitsoft Professional Consultant Certification Program
Recruitsoft recently formalized its professional services certification program, which targets Recruitsoft consultants as well as its implementation partners. The program requires that participants complete the training and development plans for 13 areas of knowledge, which relate to two main categories: non-product, such as best practices for staffing management, and product knowledge. The program includes the education and tools needed to design, implement, integrate, and support Recruitsoft staffing management solutions for large global organizations. Topics covered include multiple areas of knowledge such as ACE™ implementation methodology, legal regulations, integration, and more. Additionally, the program provides certified consultants with ongoing education about new areas of knowledge required by the industry and to reinforce key areas of knowledge required for the role.

Lequient stated, “As we continue to transform the staffing management industry with cutting-edge services and products, and as we grow as an organization, it becomes increasingly important that we transfer our consulting experience and knowledge to new employees and business partners.”

Recruitsoft Enterprise Staffing Solutions include comprehensive services methodologies and toolkits to deliver ACE™ Staffing Best Practices through a fully configurable, workflow-enabled suite of software applications.
