San Francisco, CA – May 2, 2001 –
iLogos Research (www.ilogosresearch.com), a division of Recruitsoft, announced it has developed an automated benchmarking report for companies to help analyze the quality of their career Web sites. Following the completion of a brief questionnaire available on the Recruitsoft Web site (www.recruitsoft.com/IBT), companies receive a detailed report via e-mail highlighting the quality of their online recruiting tactics as compared with those of the Fortune 500.
The real-time, custom report examines the fundamentals of the applying company's existing corporate career Web site, specifically the degree to which it incorporates the key online recruiting features of attracting, convincing and capturing job candidates. The assessment benchmarks the company's career Web site as compared with the Best Practices of the Fortune 500 and offers targeted recommendations for improvement. These features are discussed in the iLogos Research report Best Practices for Fortune 500 Career Web Site Recruiting (www.recruitsoft.com/iLogosReports). The Best Practices report defines recruiting industry standards for career Web site features, a comparison of the current practices of the Fortune 500, including specific examples, and predictions for future career Web site practices.
One of the primary findings of the Best Practices report is incorporating a link from the corporate home page directly to the careers section on the company's Web site. Seventy-three percent of Fortune 500 companies use this proactive recruiting feature. Another Best Practices feature, utilized by 55% of Fortune 500 companies, is making information available to candidates regarding a company's culture and work environment.
"This personalized assessment for companies helps them to measure their current performance against the standard for online recruiting and presents them with an opportunity to make a marked improvement in interacting with job seekers on the careers sections of their Web sites," said Yves Lermusiaux, president, iLogos Research. "It is critical that all companies make the most effective use of their corporate career Web sites, to brand their companies with potential candidates, who may also be customers and shareholders. Benchmarking practices against those of the Fortune 500 provides a useful measurement and perhaps motivation to implement best online recruiting practices."
The iLogos Interactive Benchmarking Report (IBR) is sponsored by Recruitsoft, the leading provider of online hiring management and talent deployment solutions. There is no charge to corporations for generating the customized benchmarking report.
"We are pleased to sponsor this value-added service for all corporations interested in benchmarking and enhancing their career Web site recruiting efforts," said Diane Pardee, Recruitsoft VP, marketing and communication. "Clearly, the corporate career Web site is the preferred point of entry for the majority of candidates, at all levels, and corporations that follow best practices will attract the most elusive and sought-after of job seekers, the passive job seeker, as well as enhance their corporate image overall."
